Short answers

What is the gateway fee?

A live percent on a successful payment, by coin and network. Setup and monthly fee are 0. Unpaid or expired invoices cost nothing.

Who can pay the fee?

Merchant: the customer sends the invoice amount, the fee is taken from your credit. Buyer: checkout already includes the fee, your balance gets the full invoice. Switch it on the merchant; open invoices stay as issued.

How often does the table update?

About every 15–30 seconds from the live rate and network. The calculator uses the same live quote. A larger invoice can change the percent.
