Crypto acquiring fees: what you pay, and what the network charges
CryBit fees start at 0.5%. Network gas is separate. Who can pay the acquiring fee, and where to read the live table.
Two numbers get mixed up. The network fee is what the blockchain charges to move the coin. The acquiring fee is what CryBit charges to accept the payment, convert when needed, and credit USDT. Only the second one is ours.
From 0.5%
Acquiring starts at 0.5%. There is no monthly subscription and no fee on unpaid invoices. The exact percent can move with the coin, the network and the invoice size. The public fees page shows a live board, not a PDF from last year.
Who pays it
You choose on the merchant. Merchant-pays: the customer sends the invoice amount, the fee comes out of your credit. Buyer-pays: the checkout already includes the fee, and the full invoice amount hits the balance. Open invoices keep the rule they were created with.
- Use merchant-pays when the price on the site must match the invoice one-to-one.
- Use buyer-pays when you want the credited amount to equal the order total.
Gas is not a CryBit line item
The customer pays network gas from their wallet. A USDT TRC-20 transfer is usually cheap. An L1 move can be expensive. CryBit does not hide that: the checkout is honest about the coin they picked. Your acquiring fee is still the percent on the fees page.
If a provider quotes “0%” and stays silent on spread, you are still paying. Look at the credit, not the slogan.
